
With its picturesque chalets and their stone-slabbed roofs, Valmorel is a typical Savoyard village. From 1,300 to 2,550 m altitude, on skis or on snowshoes, discover the magnificent scenery and enjoy panoramic views over forests and pastures as far as the breathtaking slopes of the Cheval Noir summit.
Valmorel boasts a truly exceptional skiing area : its northerly aspect and numerous snow cannons ensure optimal snow cover throughout the season. And while you are skiing you can admire the majestic mountain ranges of Mont Blanc, the Dome des Ecrins and the Lauzière.
The Grand Domaine consists of Valmorel, Doucy Combelouvière and Saint François Longchamp - resorts linked by 150km of ski runs and 50 ski lifts, equipped with 342 snow cannons and a snowzone with a boarder cross course, a jump and rail zone and a free-ride area.
